Driving Range, Charging, and Regenerative Braking
Having a hybrid is similar to having a standard vehicle in many ways. When you're low on gas, you just have to head to the gas station to refill the tank. You don't need to find a charging station or plug in your model at home. The huge benefit of the Sportage Hybrid, of course, is that it can travel far on a single tank of gas. After you fill up, you'll be able to travel more than 500 miles before needing to stop at a gas station.
A front-wheel-drive Sportage Hybrid can earn up to 44 miles per gallon, and an all-wheel-drive version can earn up to 38 miles per gallon. As you travel, you'll inevitably have to slow down at some points. During these times, you'll be recharging your battery through regenerative braking. What's great is that you won't have to alter how you drive to take advantage of this feature.
